Welcome to the study abroad programs of The Institute of Economic and Political Studies (INSTEP).

INSTEP provides academic semester and summer study abroad experiences that develop a contemporary European perspective on economics, business, politics, law, communications/media, and international relations. Classes are taught in small groups of students in traditionally British seminars or supervisions for which students can receive credit towards their degree at their home US university or college.

With distinguished British faculty and committed staff on both sides of the Atlantic, INSTEP provides a well structured, challenging educational environment for motivated students with interests in the majors listed below as well as students interested in the liberal arts. Students may also participate in an internship experience to round out the professional aspect of the social science or humanities degree.

Students can choose from two exciting centers: the academic setting of Cambridge or the cosmopolitan environment of central London. Each center specializes in different subject areas but provides the same philosophy and level of service.
